A seasonal roadside stall where flowers, fruit, seedlings and useful garden resources are shared freely with neighbours and people passing Seed to Sea.
Sharing abundance at the garden gate
The Sharing Stall sits at the roadside edge of 38 The Parade, creating a simple connection between the productive garden and the wider Island Bay community.
Opened in September 2025, the stall provides a place where seasonal garden abundance can be shared without needing an organised event or appointment. People can encounter it while walking past, pause to see what is available and take something they will use.
What appears on the stall changes with the seasons and with what the garden can provide. Flowers, fruit, vegetable seedlings, succulents and garden-made resources have all been shared here.
Please take what you’ll use.
The invitation encourages thoughtful sharing. Produce finds a useful home, seedlings continue growing in other gardens and something raised at Seed to Sea becomes part of another household.
How the stall connects
The garden and greenhouse provide seasonal produce, flowers and seedlings.

What you might find
Depending on the season, the stall may hold Alstroemeria flowers, oranges, vegetable seedlings, succulent plants or fermented seaweed plant food.
Availability changes according to the garden’s rhythms. There may be a generous selection at some times and nothing available at others.
When bottled garden products are offered, follow the handling and dilution directions on their labels.
Using the stall
Everything on the stall is shared freely. Please take only what you will use and leave enough for others when several items are available.
The stall is seasonal rather than continuously stocked. An empty stall simply means the garden has nothing ready to share at that moment.
